Following our first meeting in Leoben, the MaDiTraCe Project has once again brought together its consortium at DMT GROUP facilities in Essen, Germany, from 10th March to 12th March, to continue advancing material traceability both digitally and physically.
On the first day, the event began with a warm welcome from Knut Ansgar Hirsch (DMT), followed by insightful presentations. Our coordinator, Daniel Monfort (BRGM), along with work package leaders and consortium members, shared noteworthy progress and promising preliminary results. Additionally, discussions with the Advisory Board provided valuable feedback for the project’s development.
During the second day, the team engaged in an Integration Workshop focusing on key topics such as Material Fingerprinting, Digital Traceability, and the CERA Chain of Custody Standard. Through hypothetical scenarios, participants explored innovative solutions to current challenges in material identification and traceability.
