Within the Horizon Europe-funded MADITRACE project, pilot activities are helping advance certification standards for responsible raw materials supply chains.
With the involvement of MADITRACE partner DMT Group, the testing and refinement of the CERA 4in1 Performance Standard (CPS-II) and the Chain of Custody Standard (CCS) were carried out. These pilots provided valuable insights on how the standards perform in real industrial settings, bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
The experience highlighted the importance of collaboration and openness in developing robust and adaptable certification systems. By working together, MADITRACE partners are strengthening transparency, traceability, and responsible practices across the sector, contributing to more reliable and sustainable European supply chains.
